LG Fridge Delivery Checklist for Malaysian Condos
Measure the full delivery route before choosing a large fridge. A clear kitchen opening is only the last part of the journey.

A fridge can fit the kitchen opening and still be difficult to deliver through a condo. Check the route from the unloading area to the final position before you confirm the appliance.
Make a simple route sketch and photograph the narrow points. Give those details to the delivery team while there is still time to assess another model or arrangement.
Begin with the delivery team's measurements
Ask for the packed dimensions and the handling space needed for your selected model. Product dimensions alone describe the appliance body, while packaging and handling can change the route assessment.
For scale, LG lists the GC-L257KQKR body at 913mm wide, 1,790mm high and 735mm deep. Use the official model specification as a product reference, then have the team confirm the delivery requirements.
Record every narrow opening along the route. Include the entrance frame and any protruding handle or fixed fitting that reduces the clear space. Ask the team how they want measurements taken if an opening is close to the limit.
Check the lift and its approach
Contact building management about delivery hours, lift bookings and any protective covering requirements. Confirm whether a service lift must be used and whether the unloading area has height restrictions.
Measure the lift entrance and usable interior. Photograph the turn from the corridor into the lift and the exit at your floor. The approach angle can matter where there is little room to turn a large appliance.
Give the team the building's requirements before arranging a delivery slot. Keep the booking confirmation with your order details.
Walk the route inside your home
Open the entrance door fully and look for the first turn. Continue to the kitchen while noting shoe cabinets, ceiling fittings and furniture that reduce access.
Move ordinary loose items before delivery, but leave appliance dismantling or handling decisions to the authorised team. Ask in advance if any specialist work is proposed and how it will be quoted.
If replacing a fridge, agree on how the existing appliance will leave the home. Confirm removal or disposal arrangements separately rather than assuming they are included.
Prepare the final kitchen position
Check the opening against the model's installation instructions, including ventilation and door access. Photograph the socket position and surrounding cabinets.
Plan where the delivery team can place the appliance while completing the installation. Ask which checks and operating instructions will be covered at handover, including when the fridge may be switched on after transport.
Frequently asked questions
Can the delivery team remove fridge doors if the entrance is narrow?
Ask them to assess the exact model and handling procedure before booking. Any approved work should be confirmed in the scope and quotation.
Does a service-lift booking guarantee successful delivery?
The team still needs to assess the lift dimensions, route and appliance. A booking secures access rather than confirming physical fit.
